Sudoku
Sudoku is played over a 9x9 grid, divided into 3x3 sub grids called 'regions'.  Sudoku puzzles begin with some of the grid cells already containing numbers.  The object of Sudoku is to fill the empty cells with numbers between 1 and 9 (placing one number only in each cell).  The grid is to be completed so that numbers 1 to 9 must appear only once on each row, numbers 1 to 9 must appear only once on each column and numbers 1 to 9 must appear only once on each region.  (A simpler explanation is, complete the grid so that numbers 1 to 9 must appear only once on each row, each column and in each region.)

Choose the difficulty of your puzzle, using the 'new puzzle' drop-down menu.  If you want to see how your answers are progressing click the 'check sudoku' box (where mistakes will be highlighted red), otherwise choose 'solution' to see the completed grid.
